Monthly Meetings

when

  • We hold our nine club meetings on the second Tuesday, of each month, from September through the following May. 

    • Most meetings are held at our main location, the Firehouse Community Hall (see below).

    • Our social time starts at 9:30 AM, the business portion begins at 10:00 AM. The program and speaker(s) follow at 11:00 AM.

  • Board meetings for officers and select committee heads are held on the first Tuesday of each month, year-round. The are location and time are at the discretion of the president.

In addition

  • We collect for Plant-A-Tree at each meeting. It is an initiative in partnership with National Garden Clubs, Inc. and the USDA Forest Service. Bring that loose change, or paper money, and help plant trees and heal the landscape.

  • We also collect goods and cash for the Haymarket Regional Food Pantry. Suggested items for the month, are listed under each program listing, here, and in your yearbook.

  • Hosting Groups. The members are assigned to small groups of four to six people, to act as hosts and hostesses for our meetings. Names are listed in your yearbook as well as on the Current Program Page for the year.

Inclement weather

During inclement weather, we have in the past, followed the Prince William County school schedule. The president shall make the call to either cancel or run the business portion of the meeting via ZOOM. The program section will also be via ZOOM if the technical aspects can be arranged in time.
